Welcome to the newly redesigned Eye of Cara website.  I apologize if our 'remodeling' time was an inconvenience for anyone but I'm really excited about my new set-up.  It will make it much easier to add new items and keep up to date with what I have in stock and I'm looking forward to devoting the time I save to making more new blankets, scarves, and dishclothes, and taking more new photographs!

I'm so happy you've taken the time to visit my website - especially if it's been awhile since you've been here!  I'm still working on a few details of the new site so if you come across something that's not quite complete please just bear with me for a few more days!!  Take your time and look around and I hope you enjoy a peak at my eye into the world. 

Due to the individual nature of every item I sell here I've opted to forgo a formal "cart" option on the site.  I had one for awhile but since everything is customized it seemed more cumbersome than helpful.  On each of the individual tabs above you'll find a summary of what options are available.  If you see something you'd like to order please contact me and we can work out the details after that.

Crochet/Knitting

My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet when I was just a tiny little girl.  I've sometimes gone years without making a thing but I always find myself going back to it.  I love 'making something from nothing' and seeing items appear from simple strands of yarn.  

I get so many requests from people who want blankets, scarves (I make them extra long!) or dishcloths that I decided to simplify things by creating a portion of my website dedicated to the sale of these items.  Visit the Blankets, Scarves or Dishclothes tabs above to see information about the different products you can order as well as yarn options and prices.  

Photography

I've always taken photographs - for as long as I can remember.  As a teenager, I finally "inherited" my parents old camera when they got a new one and I haven't looked back since.  I take pictures mostly for myself to remember vacations etc.  However, so many of my friends and family insisted that I should sell my photographs that I started offering a selection of pictures for sale a few years ago.

I still take pictures mostly for myself and therefore it can be months before I add anything new to that area of my site.  However, if you're interested in a photograph to have in your home visit the Photography tab above for information on what sizes, framing options, and other products are available.
